    904 CMC preorder

    @all

    today marks the 60 anniversary of the official press release of the 904 at the solitude race track, which took place the 26. November 1963, so
    CMC modellers took this very date to note today that the upcoming spring 2024 release of the

    904

    is available for preorder starting today.

    Was there ever a specific ‘font’ or design for the numbers ‘904’?

    Some of the historic photos have the ‘Carrera GTS’ script, some don’t.
    (My guess was the race cars didn’t have the script)

    I also realized, for more than the first 15 years cars like the 356 didn’t have a script made up
    of numbers.

    Does anyone know which car had the number made in a metal badge, attached to the car? Was it the 911/912?
