Alternative setup for Lexan (plastic) windows

    hi guys

finished up the lexan windows on the ST over the weekend. i looked at the photos of the 911R etc pull strap setups but didn't like them for 2 reasons:

    1. you have a spike protruding off the door towards the driver and navigator; and
    2. when the window is up, you have a long loose strap, which is a potential distraction during competition.

i have attached some pics of what we installed instead - copied off a local car.

female press stud in the strap, 3 male press studs on the door (up, middle, down). works a treat and the strap is taut in all positions.

hope this is useful for someone else.
