    Recaro Tilting Mechanism

Can anyone confirm if this is an original recaro tilting mechanism?

    Hi David,

Bar the additional screw hole on the lower section of the hinge there is not much to distinguish the standard to sport seat hinge. Those look like the "new" hinges supplied by a seat manufacturer and if so they look good to me.

Does any one know if the bolt holes for the std and sport seats are the same? Cees you know it?

Standard seats only have three holes, they do not have the lower inner one, and yes they are the same bolt pattern. Thus you can get a none standard hinge, remove the tilting mech if it has one, add the additional bolt hole and it will work.

    Thanks

The screws are 6mm for standard seats and 8mm for sport seats, so the holes and countersink areas might be different. Gary
