The Ebay set is 911.110.107.2R which was originally built for the 2.5 liter engine with the 41mm inlet ports. The other type that you mention is 911.110.107.5R and was built for the 2.8 and early 3.0 RSR with the larger 43mm ports.

Both types had a top diameter of 50mm (throttle plate area). The bases of the 7R's was about 43mm. I say 'about' because some measure very close to 43 and some are closer to 43.5 or so. The castings are somewhat crude and the taper of the end bores makes is difficult to get an exact number.

An unmodified 2R will have a slightly smaller bottom bore. The seller of the Ebay set told me they were 42.5 at the base and did not appear to be modified. This number seems a little on the big side, but like I said it depends how they are mesured.
