    1985 SCCA Pro Rally POR

The previous owner of my '81 quattro shot this video in Houghton Mich. I converted his VHS tape to DVD. Some really good stuff here from the old Press On Regardless. John Buffum in the Sport quattro - check out the footage at around 6:11 in Part 1 - this thing was an absolute monster. Woodner is driving a Peugeot 205T16 but appears to be having problems and is off the pace. Also, Rod Millen's cheater car - the 4WD RX-7 built to keep up with the quattros - well, it was legal as far as the Open Class rules but nothing even close was ever offered by Mazda for the road. In any case, it was very fast and made some great noises.
