I've autocrossed (ahem... tracked) on Crow's Landing NAS with the GGR/PCA, but don't think that this is Crows Landing?!? Mostly remember there isn't really anything out there, kinda flat, no buildings. I do remember the ditched plane at the end of the runway as we went past, flat out in fourth gear...

I just keep watching this video over and over, crazy kewl.

Official word on this STi. Back in '96 I designed Vermont SportsCar's corporate identity and logo design, which they are proudly still sporting today. My vinyl guru expert Bret at rallygrafix.com I helped get started in the business with Vermont SportsCar as a client. His shop is right next door to the Suburu Rally team shop in Colchester, VT and I asked him about this STi (which I thought they originally built up). Here is his response...

"That car has been many things in the past, Ken's White Gumball Car, his White/light Blue one Lap car, it then got sent to Cali where Crawford put a wide body kit on it, a bunch of other go fast goodies and painted it black and we sent out a decal kit for it. You should be able to find other videos on Youtube of the car as its been out there for a year or 2 now."

Yeah, I just love this video. It's really well done. Love the bit where he pivots the front end around that cone.

The end is PERFECT when he gets out the key-in-ignition bell goes off. Hilarious!

    Is this porn for drifters?
Where do you cross the line from serious rally racer to showboating drifter?
Care to guess how many takes this 3 minute film took?
Looking at the tire marks perhaps they filmed each stunt a few times and just used the best attempts for each edit on this video.
Credit to Ken but he also has an awesome film crew.
With enough takes I think any of us could splice a few spectacular stunts together to appear as nonstop.
Agree great car control, how soon till we see Ken drop it like it’s hot with the starz of drifting?
