    Dansk sport exhaust

    Hello - I'm fairly new to the forum so I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere recently.

    Does anyone have any experience with the Dansk sport 2 in / 1 out muffler when used with MFI and SSI heat exchangers?

    I'm primarily concerned about sound and OEM type looks. My 73E now has the Dansk OE muffler, and am considering having the tip modified to be a smaller diameter so that it will fit a more original looking chrome exhaust tip. The alternative would be to go with the Dansk sport muffler 2/1.

    Suggestions?

    I am pretty sure that I have a Dansk stainless 2 in 1 out on my 70 S Coupe at present. I am not positive, as I obtained it used from a friend, and did not inspect it closely for branding, assuming it was a Dansk as it was stainless.
    The bottom line: I am not real happy with the muffler. the fit was poor, requiring a lot of work to align with the SSI's, which in my experience are always spot on dimensionally. Also the "OUT" pipe is not lined up well with the cut out, and points down a few degrees, not straight back as it should.
    I will probably get rid of it.
    Just bought a Sycip 2 in 3 out, which is on my other car at present, and may end up on the S as it is more period correct, and fits well with SSI's etc. Sounds great in either mode too!
