    Somebody...save it...

Somebody oughta be able to step up on this one...
Seems to me it'd be worth the effort by the right person...

I called the guy earlier this evening...car's been out here in the hot, dry Mojave since he bought from the serviceman mentioned in the ad...

I copied the ad below...don't call me, call him. I haven't seen it.
    Good Luck

    "Hello
I have a 1973 911T Carrera which I am interesting in selling & but before I advertise I wondered if you might know any local folks that would be interested. I’m asking $8500 or best offer. This fast car was brought over from Italy & is all European & even has the speedometer in Km. Its painted red-its not a show car but is in pretty nice shape. It has the telephone-dial wheels which are not stock. It’s a fun little car. The plate inside says this is Porche car #9113501278. 79,000 km shows on the odometer. The car has an unknown specific history, but was imported from Italy by a military member in 2002. It is believed to have had the engine rebuilt at some point in the last 10 years. Nice interior and decent paint, but it is not a show car. It has been driven less than 2000 km per year and garage-kept. Give yourself a Christmas present."
