    Porsche ST kremer pictures

Hi all, i am after some pictures of the Kremer prepared yellow 911 ST driven by John Fitzpatrick which was raced during the 1972 European championship season. Anything would be gratefully received, interior or exterior shots.
I have a 017 yellow 1971 2.4 S and would like some ideas for a yellow ST tribute race car.

    Thanks Dave.

500 km Race on Nurburg Ring 1971:
Porsche Cup winner Erwin Kremer drove here as he did in almost all events with the Austrian Gunther Huber who finished third in cup points.

    yellow car n 69

the yellow car wearing number 69 were taken at the Estoril european championship race in 1972, and the driver was portuguese Antonio Borges who rented the car from the Kremer team for his national race only.

Looks to me like the yellow car with blue scallops evolved from the 2.3 style car wearing nbr 64 into the yellow car with red scallops wearing nbr 69.

The 64 car in Chuck's photo has a 2.3 front bumper (looks like it may be steel or ALU as there is what looks to be a fog lamp bracket in the LH opening). The car is wearing Minilites front and rear.

The 2.5 version wearing nbr 69 looks to have Fuchs 9s and 11s and a 72 S style front bumper.

However, in both guises it has a shrouded rear flare that looks like it was "Made in Cologne."

Hugh, are all these photos of the same car, or two different cars?

They are different cars. In addition to the features Tom points out, notice the cut off switch is located on the passenger side for #64 (a 71 ST I believe), and on the driver side for both the green and yellow 72 STs. Here are some other Kremer STs to ponder.

Edmond Harris has confirmed that Kremer used 'T' bodies to build their 'ST' cars because they were the lightest tubs to start with, so it appears they didn't use factory prepared STs. They got the best Sports Purpose bits from the factory...often ahead of the rest of the competition.
