Very early 911 and other misc. tubs

A friend who owns a restoration shop is reducing his inventory and is having an auction on Saturday in Springfield, OR. I snapped some photos of some tubs that he was hoping to include in the sale. If you see something of interest, let me know and I'll get you his contact info.
He will have other parts which the auctioneer has yet to get me a list.

    912's

He also has other cars in various states of disassembly.

I love the moss growing out of the sunroof. That's how you know it's Oregon. I used to live in Corvallis so I know this first hand.

That's not moss, it is the new eco-weatherstripping.
I'll find out about the auction time. It was in Sunday's Register Guard (section 311). Buzz Steele is the auctioneer. His number is 1-800-234-5190.

Thanks for the heads up, maybe I'll see you there. Sorry to see we are losing another local Porsche resource.

From what I gather, we aren't "losing" him, he is just cleaning house to get things more organized. The auction ad had a bit of over-zealousness about it. I think the phrase "total liquidation" has more selling power than "selected non-overly valuable items for sale".
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. It should be a good gathering of Porsche enthusiasts.

I was just taking pictures of what was in his yard to help get the word out for this. I still haven't recieved a list from the auctioneer (a bit unnerving) as to what is included in the auction. There has been ALOT of interest in this post (off the board) and I am not surprised some things have already sold. This shop did the rust repair and paint work on my '68 Targa and I only poked around a bit. There are quite of bit of parts (engines, trans, stuff) that the ad says will be included in the sale.

    My, my, my #300 471

Just took a look, it's not a January 1965 build but would fall into the Feb 1965 numbers. Does anyone know this car is one of the first 500 901/911's ever made?
