    WTB Weber 40 IDA body

I need a bare body for a weber 40 IDA carb. Not even the top, just the main housing. I have one that a main jet broke off in. Someone tried to fix it a made a mess. Yes, I can be fixed, but it would cost more than it's worth, so I am seeking a spare body that is out there some where.

Thanks guys, I'll check on what side I need today, and repost. I guess that would be a big help.

Both left and right carb bodies are the same when stripped down. It's the left side I need, but again, both bare bodies are the same. Please email direct to >eurotech@together.net<
    Thanks much,Rick

    Thanks Raynald.
When Weber discontinued production, some time after a company in South Carolina started reproducing them. I think your carb is one of those as it does not say "Made In Italy" on the right side float bowl. I see a couple other minor casting differances also. Thanks for taking the time to post, but I keep looking.
