    Period correct foglight switch

    Hi there,
I am searching for a period correct fog light switch (US spec car from 1969). I need a complete switch and it has to have two positions (do not know if this was the case at the time).
First position is for front lights second for rear light.
See attached pictures of what the button should look like.
    Many thanks,
    JD

    Light Switch

    JD,

The two position fog light switch was a single detent pull switch for the front fogs and it rotated one direction for the rear fog. That was more common in the Euro spec. Most US cars had the single pull switch for front fogs. If you have no luck with the 2 position switch, I understand there is a way to wire the 2 stage rear defrost switch to do what you are asking, but you still need to get the right knob. I know you can get the replacement lens, but not sure of the rubber surround.

    Thanks Olin,
I am indeed looking for the rubber knob, as well as the two stage switch as you described. The rear defroster switch would be great too, if someone out there does have a very good example to offer.
    Thanks,
    JD
