I am using 8" early rs/sc flares , as they are larger than you think when you mock them up and measure off the inner guard to get the correct width, and i have run them through the English wheel / over a buck to round them up and get a fuller / rounder look to match the genuine ST look.
All of these ST flares from TRE / early911 / autofarm are great but pricey , but if you want the real thing they are as close as you are going to get.

I just got a set of ST flares that were made by Mr. Thom in Germany. They are very high quality, and seem to be very true to the original ST flares. Seen in these shots, while they are not sitting flush with the body as they will end up, you can see they have the correct slopes and dimensions away from the body. I am very impressed with them.

Don't worry, no yellow Kremer ST sister car being done here....that's for you to do. I am still waiting for the guy out in CA to craft a pair of rear ST flares. He is a real craftsman, but apparently very busy. I will post when I get some results...and even though I probably won't need them, maybe someone will want them.
