    RS info wanted

    Are any members familiar with the RS at Dawydiak in the Bay Area? Is it a good car? I can see in the photos some cosmetic issues; rugs, mirrors, color etc. But it looks ok. Is it? Any information on this car is much appreciated. I am RS shopping. If anyone with an RS who may be looking for a change of scenery, I have 356 trading fodder. Will trade up, down or straight across. Please PM if there is any interest. And TIA for any info on the Dawydiak car. Steve #2 S reg.

    I travelled to USA this year for Monterey and dropped into the dealer you mention to look at his "race car" RS the red one that is truely a piece of crap.

    A friend in Australia has paid a deposit on it ...I have told him he is an idiot!!

    The white one was downstairs on display and I had a fair look at it while its not perfect by any stretch it was reported to be numbers matching and if it is I have seen worse for $200k.

    It used to be india red, probably another Japanese car made to look like a lightweight

    It depends on what you want if you want an original or close to you will probably spend another $100k making the white one very good and then you have a third series restored RS
