I would suggest that you show some photos of the underside and of the rusty areas.

As most have noticed the COA and window sticker shows the cars came with Light metal wheels AKA Fuchs. From day one the dealer had issues with those exact wheels causing vibration in the steering wheel of this car. The owner elected to trade them for the chrome steel wheels that are on the car. Unfortunately those wheels (which also had gold centers) are long gone.

    From the ad . . . .

'. . . 1971 T One owner from new in very original condition, numbers matching per COA and it's original purchase documents. All paint and body work appears and measures with a paint meter to be original with the exception of the left front fender (drivers side which has been repainted). As seen in some of the photos the paint has a bit of patina and faded in many spots. Mechanical systems work well the engine starts right up with no smoke and the transmissions (TYPE 911/01 #7114818 not listed on COA) shifts smoothly while driving. The Interior is in fantastic condition with NO cracks in the dash and all other upholstery is in good condition. The body also in overall good condition does have couple small rust sports as One on the drives side A pillar and the other on the passenger side front bumper. Car currently has 91,000 miles . . .'
