    1966 Fuel Line Loop

    Hello to all,

Does anyone know the purpose of the fuel line loop found behind the gas tank on the driver's side for a '66? I've searched the archives and looked through my manuals but I couldn't find anything.

    Thanks much,

    Lee

    Hi Lee,

    It's the gas tank breather.

    Cheers

On my '68 it is a gas tank breather as well as a brake fluid reservoir overflow.

    Thanks guys,

I should have looked harder to see what hoses went where before asking the question.

    Bob,

Your trunk looks awesome! May I ask how you painted your trunk area?

The front compartment over-haul was the result of "while you're in there" to the suspension pan replacement.

That about where I am with my '66 - addressing some rust issues in the pans. Good to know that happy endings do exist. Your posts helped jog my memory about the luggage /truck thread awhile back. Beautiful cars all around.
