    cooler

If you cannot find an original cooler you can use an sc loop cooler, you have to cutoff the lines where they bend and silver solder on the 30mm fittings. It will look exactly the same as original. Ron

I must not be up on the newest jargon here, is the jail bar type what used to be called the the "loop" or "trombone" or are you using that term to identify what I call the "honeycomb" or tube and fin type. If its the loop cooler (like what would have been on a 73 RS) then I can help, if you mean the other, (honeycomb) then I can't. I just realized maybe you're referring to the 28 tube brass cooler, can't help there either.

He's looking for the one-year-only trombone with the short fittings. The 74-later trombones had the long pipe fittings.

    Thanks for the input.
Will most likely go with Ron's advice since the OEM ones are NLA.
    Appreciate the offers and advice.

That's what I always knew as the "Jail bar" cooler.
