The cloth badge with backing is what caught my eye. I have two different sizes of the centre top red jacket that was also on the 73 accessories brochure ( had a third oth a different badge but gave it to a friend). The main interest was I've also got another deep wine and white sleeve/side insets not bit shown here that might be a team ( not retail) British made jacket about ten years prior based on info I've found elsewhere. I'll investigate further and maybe post when facts more clear.

Hi Haul, from the design and the English maker label there is chance it is one of originals referred to in the the reproductions he did with/ for Porsche ...

    https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-car...-a-time-38245/

Nice jacket similar to the wine ( dark red) with white repro in article but my example is obviously vintage -- still has old British maker label. Be neat if it is deemed to be an original based on the small details particularly comparing the long defunct British maker label...but not a big deal if not an original as this is just another piece of hobby automobilia old tat according to my wife.

I've various other old jackets too but this one is the most intriguing ....

I love these jackets, especially there had been a set in yellow, too

please do note the location of the crest...left/right

Presumably different side crest for female to male. Mine has crest in the more common ( male) side. Note the distinctive small ( a mm or two) visible edging of a yellow backing material around the outside edge of crest. It is visible on Lorenzo's catalogue crest image ( which actually is what caught my eye in the catalogue photo so triggered me to post) and found on the originals, clearly on mine also... even on the repros copied that detail.

As I've said no big deal if mine is not a rare race team only original garmentb because I never realised it was potentially that, but who knows it might unexpectedly turn out to be a neat quite rare team wear item.

I'll hold off posting more for now but might pipe up again if anything turns out to be of interest on this when I get to the bottom of it hopefully with his help.

I’d like one of the reproduction race jackets. They look great! Did he ever make them?

    ...apparantly so

My vintage one is like the maroon and white repro but think he made the ones with a shawl collar in the two other colour combos too.

This one, maybe? Have it from many years, don't think it's an original Porsche racing jacket but just a nice aftermarket jacket from the 70's.

....it'll be interesting to see if Hunziger if the British company that made the team jacket and is now no longer in business. Many British garment businesses went bust when faced with low cost country competition.
The article about the reproduction he made with /for Porsche on link refers generally to this company but omits to mention the company name that Porsche used to source the originals.

An auction site was offering a variation of that jacket with the same maker label:
