Thread: Porsche Automobilia

Thomas, maybe Koch's widow is recycling trophies?

The Liebe.. book was interesting at that price, nice buy!

I've heard there were not many people at the auction and many items ( but not the rare ones) remained unsold.

My best buy was a lot of 7 or 8 calendars and rare prints, mostly BMW, from 70's. I was bidding alone, by phone: 10 Euros plus fees.

Here the McQueen/Solar Productions/ Le Mans items I won:

This is the auction house description for the trophy: "PORSCHE/ GERHARD KOCH, silver cup with engraving "Porsche", (was awarded to the German championship title 1962), hallmarked 925, (22 cm tall) "

Possibly for the overall win in the GT 2.0 category of the 1962 World Sportscar Championship season?

Probably. But Thomas (Milou) bought an identical silver cup from Koch's widow.
Then it could be the trophy for 1st place in some of the championship class Gt 2.0 races?
    Who knows.....

Wow. There is some great stuff in this thread.
I'll add some fun stuff. My copy of a 904 Carrera GTS/904 Drivers Manual in English. About 60 pages of greatness here, even though I will never be able to afford a real one.
