    Wink Light Ivory

911R could be specified in different colors but the white used must have been "light Ivory" (6804), as grand prix white only came later.

Does anyone have a photo of the paint badge used on the 911R's. Most would be 6804, but what prefix, what suffix, and did the badge have the VIN?

What about the 457 Gand-Prix white RS models made before the '74s ever came out. Were those cars not officially painted G-P White.

9113600441 had paint code 908-8-2, so Grand Prix White was correct for the RS in 1973 apparently. But let us not get off topic. I need documentation for a 1968 911R.

According to my factory salesmans samples book - GP white was not a standard offered color till 1974. "Special" cars may be excepted.
