I understand they have a link to Porsche via the SCRS's of the 80's.

Still looking for 1st Edition Carrera RS book #358.
Life is way too short to drive boring cars.
That SCRS is in their museum. The shop is just insane. I love the wiring department. Full scale harness drawings and then fab up the wiring to match!
Thanks man....I used to feel good about myself.....
You mean your shop doesn't look like that?
Thanks a lot Curt! I just spent an hour and a half looking through the photos of their facility that I should have spent working on an estimate. I'll be thinking of you at 2 am when I'm still trying to finish up.
I just love looking at all of the fabrication details. The Prodrive/Aston Martin Le Mans team that showed up for the Lime Rock ALMS race a couple years ago was impressive to say the least. Too bad they didn't stick with it for a while, they made the Pratt and Miller GT1 Corvette paddock look quaint by comparison.

It's a wonderful facility.
I was lucky enough to take it (the tour) in person. We dealt with Prodrive quite a bit when I worked for Subaru Australia, as we ran a rally team which ran an ex McRae WRC 98 (the 2 door 22B style rally car) and then an ex Kankannen WRC 2000. These were driven by the late, great Possum Bourne. We also had a WRC display car.
I turned up expecting a quick 30 - 40 minute walk around, and found I had to tear myself away 4 hours later.
Prodrive had just bought an SCRS out of Japan, but alas it had been transported over to DR's house for a staff party.
I was very lucky and very grateful....
Not sure how much this will all be effected by Subaru's withdrawal from rallying (for the time being) however.
So ... any pics from your visit?
I toured Pratt & Miller's facility a couple of years ago. Very impressive shop. They do most of their own fabrication. But I must admit, ProDrive is in a whole other league!
Curt,
Yes I do have some... I'll find them first.
There were some things they simply asked me not to photograph... being a guest I complied with their requests.
