Can anyone please tell me what font Porsche uses ?

The P O R S C H E Script is a special graphic font designed in the early fifties by Erich Strenger who also designed all posters, brochures and factory promotional items up to the eighties. http://www.liebe-zu-ihm.be/report.php?id=56
You wont find it on a computer's font list but you have to rely on reproductions.

BTW, the Porsche script above rocker panels shows a square P design up to 1972/73 when the script was slightly softened and the P rounded, as seen also on 1974 IROC cars and all later built Porsche including dealership logos.
