For Sale: 1969 911S Engine complete w/ MFI

I have a 1969 911S Engine available. It was supposedly a decent running engine 1 year ago, who knows, so I decided to take it apart, clean it and verify everything.

    Serial # 6391515, type 901/10

THE ENGINE IS NOW RE-ASSEMBLED. COMPLETE minus muffler and left side heat exchanger (exhaust was rotted). Complete from Crank Pulley to Clutch.

Here is a detailed assessment of all components:

Case: looks good, no modifications, no damage, no pulled studs. Nothing funky looking about the numbers-- True 911S 901/10, #6391515

    Crankshaft: Beautiful, Standard/Standard, Counter-Balanced 911S factory Crank

Connecting Rods: Original "911S" Nitrided Connecting Rods. Still have 911S Factory Ink Stamps

Pistons/Cylinders: Factory 906 Mahle units. Used, but will work if re-ringed with Deves (not Goetze) rings. Cylinders have no broken/bent fins, which is highly unusual..I don't think this engine had been apart before.

Cylinder Heads: Original 1969 911S Heads. VERY NICE. No damage. 45/39mm Valves. 36/35mm Ports. Never modified. Extremely rare "901.104.308.1R" Part number heads, with 2-'69 Dates. All heads are MATCHING.

Camshafts: these are apparently 911E units, with MFI. I do not know if they are actually 911E or 911S, but the part number says '911E'....could be reground as 911S Specs.

Distributor: '69 911E Distributor, good shape

MFI: 001 ('69 S) Factory used pump, restamped/rebuilt at some point 005 (also '69 S). It has the space cam code #47, which is '69S. I know 100% for sure, this MFI pump is a 69S, with dual solenoids.

The Throttle Bodies and Stacks are in good used condition, with no pitting, or broken items. They are true 36mm throttle bodies (at the ports), and move freely and tightly (no wobbly shafts).

Never left outside, never seen water, never grenaded, etc. 906 Centerlube MFI camshafts can be negotiated if you would like to add these.

In Los Angeles, CA. Can/Will Ship.

Just out of curiousity, what is the build # next to the type #? It should be up in the 18000 to 20000 range I expect.

Any bites? Am I going to have to bring myself to put this in my 70 911E...that's just not right.

This is a great project 69S engine. If the cams and distributor are the hang-up, I will work with you.
