I was at the inaugural Indy car race in 1970 as a 10-year-old and at the Questor GP (F1/5000) in 1971. I still find myself drawn to it though it is no longer there. I actually lived near it from 1989-1992 and looked to the empty lot each day as a drove to work on Haven Ave. So sad that so much history was lost to the ages.

I have many mementos that I'll have to post photos of sometime. Here's a little trip down memory lane...
