NOS metal timing decals on eBay

    Hey Guys,

Wanted to pass along links to these auctions. These are not mine but I bought one of each and they just came in the mail and are the real deal, NOS metal foil timing decals for a '71 T and 2.2 E or S model 911. Really nice price too.

Well, those didnt last long. If whoever bought them would like to sell one, I would certainly be interested.

    Brian,
    Just a couple of observations.
The T decal looks right for the US market car.
I attatch a pic of what I assume to be the corresponding ROW version.
The 'S/E' decal is in fact the replacement of the two ROW decals for the 2000 and 2200 original decals.
As far as I am aware, this decal 901 006 510 01 is still available from your local dealer although I last checked about a year ago with mine - price ??
The original ROW (?) decals are below but I don't know if there was a US(ci) version of these.
Is this another Carrera/914-4 wheel thimble and pea E bay trick ?? - or will the fan housing timing sticker police put me straight ??

    See you in Monterey !!
    Cheers,
    Dennis.
    ...ps I am still looking for the 2200 decal...911 006 510 00

I think that it is safe to say that everyone that has posted on this thread has been looking for the correct sticker for YEARS. Dennis- any progress on the reproductions from Australia?

    Hi Dennis,

I am 100% sure on the T decal is correct for a US model car in '71. I was unsure what the other one was. I knew it wasn't correct for a US car and it seems from the other photos it is not original for a ROW car either. Makes sense it is a replacement for the 2.2 E/S originals but it is made on the same original metal foil material unlike the current replacement decals.

    See you in Monty.

    Dennis,

Look what I found for you on eBay.

The package actually has 2 decals but one is for a certain black lady in Ohio.

I'd seen a NOS decal for a '68 911 w/ emissions only once a couple years back. It sold for $58 on Ebay. A couple weeks back these showed up on The Samba for $6 ea. shipped. He had an assortment of early red bordered decals. I couldn't find the listing for them so I think he's pulled it. I've been on a euphoric high ever since getting these.

If you're not going to use both of them, any chance you would sell one? I have been trying to find one to complete my engine installation.

    Thanks,

    Hi guys!

I'm also in the market for a correct ignition sticker for my 70 S Coupe (Euro version), so I was wondering what's the difference between codes (E) 911 006 510 00 and 901 006 510 01 on my PET CD? Can someone post a picture of each please?

    Cheers!
