Thumbs up Dakar Rally Shows Up at My Hotel in Buenos Aires

So I'm rolling into my hotel in B.A. after a long, hard days work and what do I see? Several support vehicles from the Dakar Rally that was finishing up here in Argentina. Thought it was pretty cool.

Not sure why they call it Dakar anymore, as the security threat has caused it to change venues to here in South America.

The last photo is of an ancillary hydraulic pumping support vehicle

    Eyes on the cars, please!

That is too cool. I've been watching bits and pieces of the rally on the Versus channel. That's Robby Gordon's Hummer in one of your fotos.

Cool! My son and I have been following the daily highlights....he likes the bikes and I like the cars. A bad break for Sainz the other day - I don't think anyone would have caught him if he hadn't gone off that 13' drop.

A good year for the Americans so far with Miller 2nd and Gordon 3rd. Too bad about that American KTM privateer (I can't remember his name) who was in third place until he fell and hurt his wrist.
