Engine rebuilt by Nick the Greek in So Cal

    Hello all,

I'm looking at an engine that was rebuilt by Nick the Greek about 10 years ago and never started. Can anyone comment on the quality of Nick the Greek's work? Any concerns about an engine like this sitting for 10 years inside?

    Thanks,
    Alan

    Try this

    Hi Alan,

This outfit has been around since the glory days in San Bernardino when Nick would have been in business.

I think there may be 2 Porsches in San Bernardino these days and the other one is mine. Just kidding, but close.

The owner used to be Stacey Blodgett, I don't know if he's still alive. He built a VW engine for me back around 1980.

They should be able to vouch for Nick, I hope.

I got the name wrong. It's Tony the Greek. Now that should make you feel much better about him Stu.

    Take care,
    Alan
