FS '68-'72 Correct Blaupunkt US Frankfurt

    Needing better reception folks,

OK, most likely your early Porsche 911 was purchased with a "updated radio" (don't you just love it! ) And, if you found the "correct" radio it was either wrong or didn't work. Here we have for sale a US Frankfurt radio in perfect working order (I just tested it) for a 1968-1972 911. This radio is a "Z" date code making it most correct for a 1968 year model. However, once installed it is totally correct in appearance, other than the hidden date code, for Porsches up to and including 1972. In 1973 the Porsche Frankfurt Blaupunkt got an actual blue dot on the dial. It is in great shape. Very minor pitting on bezel (looks worse in photo than actual)The large soft rubber knobs are correct for these years. Also, the mounting hardware is in great shape. This radio includes the bracket (pictured) that goes on the back for 69-72 cars; you will also need snap mounting ears for years other than 1968; in that year the radio mounts from the back rather than slide in. I know of at least one list member who has several sets at appo. $50 for the pair. This radio is $500 (reasonable offers considered) shipped in US. Please email DrRSR@aol.com Thanks.
