There is no better way or more affordable way to enjoy an early Porsche 911 then this example. The entire drive train has been replaced with the legendary 911 SC 3.0 engine. These examples are known to be not only one of the most reliable Porsches, but also the easiest and least expensive to maintain.

The same person has owned this particular example for over 17 years. When he purchased the car from a fellow PCA member, he decided to convert the car (the right way) to an SC. The car was stripped down to the bare metal and had a complete repaint. Then, a 40,000 miles SC motor was freshened up and installed. The motor came from a 1981 911 SC. This car will even pass the strict California emissions test!

When the motor was installed and the body was done, the following was performed:

    Carrera chain tensioners
    Terbatrol oil cooler with fan
    Koni adjustable shocks/struts
22mm front and 28mm rear torsion bars
22mm Weltmeister sway bars with heim jointed drop links
    Factory steel Carrera flares
    Factory Carrera rear spoiler
Factory 7x15 and 8x15 Fuchs (7x16 and 8x16 BBS Wheels also available)
Auto Power roll bar (bolt-in and can easily be removed)
Recaro SRD driver’s seat (we have the original in great condition)
Momo steering wheel (we have the original in great condition)
    Sony AM/FM/CD stereo
    MB Quartz speakers
    US Acoustics amplifier
    Recent master cylinder replacement
Recent major service including valve adjustment and oil change (Mobile 1 Synthetic)

The owner of this car was meticulous and no service or cost was ever spared. This is one of the few examples I have experience that doesn’t drop even a drop of oil (and yes, it does have oil in it). If the new owner prefers a complete stock look, we can help install the regular seat, remove the roll bar, and install the stock steering wheel. Or, if you prefer something you can enjoy at the occasional Auto cross or Driving Event, you are all set to go.

We have most of the receipts for the car since new including all the receipts for the restoration.
