    Kokosmattern Schwartz

Does anyone have a pic of ex-factory Coco-mats circa 1965.

My car was delivered new with a schwartz set- here is a copy of the original order confirmation listing options:

I've just had the cocomats guys make these up and they're great........

    <a href="http://s182.photobucket.com/albums/x185/heuermonaco/?action=view&current=DSC01944.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x185/heuermonaco/DSC01944.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I also had a custom piece made to fit the rear parcel shelf, which I think looks quite nice.

    <a href="http://s182.photobucket.com/albums/x185/heuermonaco/?action=view&current=DSC01946.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x185/heuermonaco/DSC01946.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

....how close a match are they to factory mats?

    Cheers

    Stew.

I don't have any pics to offer. Your car looks great! I don't think I've seen a mat to go over the rear seats folded down but think it's a good idea. Especially for those of us that are in the sun impaired states.

Sorry I can't help and I don't intend to hijack your thread, but I'm having the cocomats folks make up a set for my car as well. Jeff @ cocomats had never made a mat specifically to fit a Sporto car, so he sent me one of his templates for comparison. I took my well-worn original mat, laid it over his template and retraced it. If this all goes well I'll start my own thread on topic.

    Thanks,
    Ed

Check here to see an original in tan:
Among other things, the original fixing system was different.

If you ask and provide template, Jeff at Cocomats.com will do the front/rear tunnel piece as well.
    Here for a 2.2l.
