Anybody know "Mark L Richard" or "Gruppermotorsports" on eBay?

I'm trying to find this guy. His eBay ID is now disabled, and his contact phone number is now disconnected. He bought a 911 rear spoiler from me, I shipped it to him, and he never paid after repeatedly telling me he would do so. I even got the "check is in the mail" one, he's very original. Unfortunately, eBay won't do anything because this all happened in November. (No, I will never ship another item without having payment first, but it's the first time in 10 years somebody screwed me.) Anyhow, anybody know this guy? He's in South Windsor, CT. Repeatedly told me he would pay, never did. Looks like he did the same to others, according to eBay. It was a used red spoiler for a Porsche 911- if he sold it to you, it's stolen goods! Thanks if anybody can help.

    Shipped?

Why would you ship an item without payment first? That is completely opposite of the ebay proticol when winning an item.

Well, I'm too trusting would be the big reason, then put stupid in there somewhere. He seemed like you're normal Porsche guy on the phone, so I went with it. (BTW, this guy has two seperate threads on his scams on the Pelican forum, so I'm not alone.) Ah well.

Amazing that someone could be on eBay for so long and then go so wrong...

I just replied on the Pelican thread that we did a run to Lime Rock a couple of years ago and met up with a few people in South Windsor. I know that one of those guys lives in that area but I'm not sure who it was.

Paul Ripley and Jim Garfield might know who it was that lives there and maybe he can find this loser for you.
