    100 liter gas tank

    All,

    I am in need of (in descending order)

    1) Steel center-fill 100 liter gas tank

    2) Steel fender-fill 100 liter gas tank

    3) Plastic center-fill 100 liter gas tank - Black

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Marco at www.elevenparts.com has a 100 liter steel tank (fender fill).

    ....spoke to Marco. He is keeping his as a pattern for a repro. He does great work so I guess we'll see his first repro's in 2-3 months.

    I'd still like an original....

    Like the hood mounted rally lights it won't matter one day if the right guy does the work. Many BMW bike parts (for the vintage models) can be bought new so the auto jumbles and swap meets are getting less for the original (and beat) stuff.
    I can show you 2 fenders; a new one and an "original" (the new ones are made under license for BMW using their blueprints) and you won't be able to distinguish them; they're that good.
    Marco won't cut corners (and they won't be cheap) but it might be better than buying one that's been bottomed out or worse yet, rusted.
