Value Question on ‘70’s Porsche calendars.

I have a few old Porsche calendars; some with coins, mostly from the ‘70’s stashed away in a box somewhere. Are these of value in the market and if so how much? Most are in the original shipping envelopes. Are the coins of more value alone as singles? I don’t have a clue on these.

    Thanks for your input.

The 1970 one should be worth something - it's the same as 2009.

Are you saying 30 year old vintage photographs in the 70's Calenders have no more value & collectability than a 09 calender? Have you looked at the photo stlye of the 70's versus the 00's. I don't see how that can be a reasonable evaluation. Please explain

    Easy there demo,

I think what John is saying is that the days of the year in 1970 correspond exactly to the same days/calendar dates in 2009......

Thanks, Chuck. Exactly. Didn't mean any harm - just pointing out that the 1970 calendar 1970 calendar is functional this year, in addition to it's historic value. Heck, I'll buy the '70 calendar if I can afford it (have no idea what it's worth).

    Cheers,

The first post was asking for and idea of value. The fact that the dates are the same really doesn't effect the value. Its the collectability of the photos, as I don't believe they will be used to keep track of the date. So how about some opinion of what someone might "value" them. I am curious also.

    Mint 1970 Calendar with coin

In very good original condition, with coin, and still wrapped, I would pay $ 200.
