Looks pretty sweet but from a price point it's in 993 territory. I'd go for a 993 over it.
    Currently:
    67 3.6 Rocket "Silver"
62 T6 Outlaw Coupe "ole Yellow"
65 F100 Custom Cab Flairside Shortbed

Gone but not forgotten in last 2 years:
    67S Concours King
    67 912 Vintage Racer
    68 912 Flipper
    83 911SC
    93 Mo30 968

    too many cars before that

Yesterday, I went and looked at this car.

It belongs to a young Ford engineer in Dearborn. He's owned it for about 10 years now and keeps it at his folks house in Delaware.

The car is a (mismatched) repaint. The driver's mirror is about to fall off the car. The A/C has been removed and the chin spoiler is missing. It has an aftermarket exhaust and polished Fuchs. My biggest concern was the right rear quarter that had been replaced. The replacement was not done to Porsche standards, which bothered me.

I opted not to drive it even though offered by his dad. Although a decent car, it had too many big-dollar issues for me to justify that price.

The parents are very, very pleasant and a lot of fun to spend the afternoon with, if anybody would like to go see the car, the father (Jerry) can be reached at 302.335.4533

The original color was a "paint to sample" color that appears to be Ice Green which was '76 code #266. The new color has a lot more blue in it.

It is an attractive color but NOT original and none of the jams match because it was a cheap job

Sorry for the disappointment. From the ad it LOOKED like a very good car to own.
