    71 72 wipers problem help

    i have 2 cars with the same problem the wipers have a mind of there own the inntermitten feature does not work right the wippers dont park in the right spot i heard its a ground problem where is it pics..please is all thats needed is to clean the ground what color wire is it

    Just went through this

    I just went through this, and learned a great deal. Your intermittent problem sounds like your relay is going bad. this wiring is a bit tricky, but check out this thread in this forum. It helps. If you have any other questions PM me.

    the ground wire is hooked up to a spade to the bottom left of the motor assembly. It will have three brown wires.

    the White connector is where the action is. The 9:00 position is the switched power, the middle wires!2 and 6:00) are the stalk switch wires, and the 3:00 wire is where the park power is. This is on a later style motor. depending on what you have in there will determine how the wires run. Also I have read posts where people have to work on the inside of the wiper motor to fix things.

    Not much help, but search here and pelican, there is info out there fo you to solve this problem.
