Thread: 1972 MY Price List. Place to Post?

  1. #1

Question 1972 MY Price List. Place to Post?

I have accumulated a copy of the price list for the 1972 model year Porsche from somewhere. It lists all of the cars and the options available.

Unfortunately, it is not a very good copy, but you can make out most of the information.

Is there a better place to post this for viewing/downloading by any interested parties than this thread?

This is as good a place as any. I may be able to clean it up some, but it will take some time.

Wow. Option code 417 is Ti connecting rods for $903.50. Cool, didn't know these had their own option code.

Option E03 is the Air conditioner along with the tinted windows and other things that go with it. Some of the prices differ from my cars original invoice and the Porsche Audi Fact Book (Salesman book with prices) that I have.

The numbers that I posted are east coast prices as of Oct. 1971.

Maybe that explains some of the differences..

Also, do you know what the contents of the other option groups are?

I do not know what the other option groups are. My car has option 03 and I figured that it is the AC and tinted windows. Hopefully somenone else will tell us.
