    Painted Dash 912

I really like the look of a painted dash. No affiliation, big price, nice car.

Had to delete it because it was not 356 related. Sold it to a multipule 356 owner, though!

Thank you, Bill! It is a very nice car and I have a buyer pending funding at a VERY 911 price. I'll attach a few more for fun.

    Jeff,
If you got anywhere close to the asking price, you did well - especially in this market.

Maybe the only one like it in "this market" though?

The rare and good cars will always get the best money. This one is pretty darn good. Never really restored, but well managed. Much like the "S" I bought from Tom. Those cars just don't come along with frequency and when you have the opportunity, grab them! I love some patina and love bestowed upon an early Porsche. I've been fortunate to find a few.

BTW, I know this is the 911S Registry Board, but I highly endorse the balance and driving experience in the 912. I think you'd be hard pressed to keep up on a twisting road, early 911 vs. 912. There is a certain lightness, nimbleness to a 912 that a 911 just doesn't have. Both are a kick to drive in their own way, but give me a 912 when the turns get close together!

Jeff, Again, nice car. Good to see 912's getting some action $$ wise.

    but...

Why don't you delete the post on the 356 forum or say it has been sold? Since you semi-deleted it already, it doesn't really make sense anymore. Thanks.
