Thread: 69 Rear Deck rain tray????

    69 Rear Deck rain tray????

    I tried to search but can’t find it the thread some one posts pictures of a 69 rear deck lid it showed a black rain drip tray under the grill strips. Is that really correct for a 69? Did they have a tray under the grill or not?

    I believe that the rain tray was only used on the 1967-69 912. I have never seen it on a 911.

    Correct, 912 stuff, here's a 68 engine with one.

    The 76 912E's also had the similar "rain tray"

    There is a 911 rain tray as well. It has triangles at the ends.
