Photo of a 911 being used ... in the day

    Gents:
Sent this to a friend who suggested that some of you might like to see this. It is not a rally nor racing image, so it didn't fit in there. This is my brother's 1968 911L in 1970. I wanted to shoot a blurred action shot of him and his car. I picked a rainy day when he visited me in Monterey and one of the many great back roads and shot away while he flogged it. Those are magnesium American mags in all that blurring. He still drives the car daily.. but it's looks and performance are as different as anyone could imagine. He calls it Evo Blue for good reason.
I still remember getting soaked doing this!

    Hope you enjoy..

    Evo Blue

    John:

Great image that you made - rainy days in Monterey are way better than sunny days in most other places.

My car the first time around

Here are a couple of shots of me and my car back in '76 at the long gone Greater Southwest Airport in Fort Worth doing a high speed autocross on the runways.

    Ed Mayo's '72 S

...and a couple of David Keens with his '72 S at the same event. Ed Mayo bought this car from David years ago.
