    Source for Correct "Euro" Plates

I have seen the many places that offer to make custom "Euro" plates. They all seem to be made with the newer style typeface and do not look right.

I am looking for some older DIN style plates to be made up; I could also settle for an old pair of Stutguartt plates too.

Desired plate (with incorrect typeface; almost looks bold) and old factory car photo from '73TF [mega] thread below.

    Lisence plates

    Hi Andrew,
well I didn't like it when they changed to all these white with black and the blue country corner.
Problem is the old presses are hard to find and some even had to give back the old toolings. There were actually 3 different sizes, one for the motorcycles and US cars-due to the smaller available space, that the normal ones and the narrow ones for big cities with many registered cars.
In Italy you had to return the lisence plate as part of the tax release- so much for the little Italian front plates.....
The same as the EURO these lisence plates uniformed the European continent. I still love the yellow, black and red French plates-75 for Paris-06 for Nice.....

    Thanks Stefan,

So correct repro is out as the dies are gone/taken.

Orig. S- plates are gone as they were traded in on new plates.

    Time to go Euro-Barn hunting....
