    Looking for chassis 305 641

I have a ton of documentation for chassis 305 641 and I would like to see if I could locate the car. Does anyone know where to search for the car by chassis number? Google hasn't turned up anything. (I am not a porsche guy, please dont flame me if I am missing something obvious). Just trying to get this info back to the vehicle it came from. Thanks!

Not in my database or any of the places I checked. It would be nice to get the info for my database if you are willing to share.

From what I can tell, the car was bought new in Oakbrook, Illinois and brought home to north central Indiana. The car was shipped over to Germany to participate in a Treffen (cant remember the year). They guy drove the car on the Ring! I have all of the documentation from that trip. Very cool stuff. Sad that it is not still with the car (if the car even exists!)

I have the same situation with a 356 A Cab. This car was picked up at the Treffen (badge). The car was rolled over on the 'Ring during the Treffen driving school when it was 2 days old! It was repaired by the factory and sent to the US where it had a busy schedule as the owner was Secretary of the PCA. The car participated in many Parades, rallies, etc. Note the photo and the actual rally plate just below it.....I have so much on this car. I am going to list a "Bolt for 356 #151037"on Ebay. I have tried everywhere else.

That stuff looks really familiar. Except I have a whole box full of it. I even have those number plates and a bunch of metal badges, decals and maps of Germany.
