    RSR Bottom Pully?

Why not just drill your own holes...?

I'm sure that balance becomes an issue......

I know a lot of people drill their own. I think the rotating mass is small enough that any slight irregularity in the holes would not be an issue.

I'm sure they do - but I can't take any chances. I'm building a fairly nasty motor and have paid a small fortune in a correctly balanced assy. If I can't find a "recreation" I'll go with an original....

What about having it balanced by a machine shop?

If I go that route - it would be a must. I was just wondering if a repo was made before I moved to the next option.

Just curious why you would think a repro would be any more balanced than one you could drill yourself?

A rotating assembly is balanced as a whole so any piece you throw into the mix once the balancing is completed could potentially upset said balance.

Marco - One would hope that a product for sale would be correct. Of course it would be checked. Sometimes buying something 99% done is a whole lot less expensive than doing it yourself. Time is money.....

HOPE is the operative word, for sure.

I've seen some major reproduction disasters...

    Good luck.
