That has got to be one of the worst eBay ads I have seen in quite awhile especially for a valuble car. No photos, serial #s, etc. and a stupid statement that reads:"We will have the car completely checked up/out once the deposit is secured." Oh and BTW the deposit is $25K.

You guys sure are hard on people.
I have a list of cars personally inspected by a "guy" that I know who brought in a bunch of RS's back in the early 80's when they were "just another car".
His is the tale I've told of the "Frog-men" changing a 911T body into an RS. (the original car was smushed/smooshed/blasted/wrecked beyond recognition). A quick call to the factory vetted (my new favorite "politico" word) the car as fake.
Owners names with a few of them. This list is supposed to be "clean" stuff.
$100 per inquiry.

. . . . for $208,198.88 (bf = 3)
For the record this RS is # 1108 which has been for sale at Cars Dawydiak for ages at $197K. I find it curious that the car sold for $208K and there was no mention of the dealer in the eBay ad

eBay posts Buyer's Feedback ('bf') and Seller's Feedback ('sf') numbers on their auction results. The idea is that the numbers usually coincide with the auction transactions the parties involved have successfully completed. (Kinda gives you some idea of how reliable/dependable/experienced/credible somebody is in doing business on eBay.)
I thought it was interesting that the winner of this particular auction paid $208k with only three previous transactions on eBay.
Hope this helps.
