The points where you measure is normally 46 mm. Did the NOS fit? Is 49 an obtical illusion?

I think from the centers it is 46 - I measured from the outside edges. The NOS one was identical and fits perfectly.

46 mm is for MY 66 or after the summer of 65 models. Prior they were 53 mm and had another pin location.

This is definitely the later one - as to what was originally on my car, it is unknown. My car HAD a '67 decklid that I have since replaced with a '66.

Thanks for your efforts Kenik, I didn't know there was an early and later badge.

My early car's is the 53mm sized one- so this won't work for me.

Does anyone else have one for sale?
