    Experience with Vertex Aluminum fan?

Vertex advertises an aluminum 11 blade fan for under $200... a huge deal compared to stock. Can anyone comment on quality, fit?

I heard they don't fit the housings properly.

Never had any personal experience with them, but for a few bucks more you could have the real deal and have zero fitment issues.

Hmm. If they don't fit, they are useless. But a "few bucks" turns out to be $600-900.

Thanks to all. I'm going to postpone action on this for a few weeks while I deal with a clutch problem. Sounds like "used" is the way to go.
