    SC Front Fender Conversion

Just had a scruffy pair of SC Fenders to repair/convert

We patched up the corroded sections and made up light boxes and filler parts, lead loaded and e-coated

Chris, are you going to make-up some of the light boxes, or was this a one-time deal?

Stodard is going to sell the light boxes to backdate later fenders soon if not already. $300 for the pair if I remember correctly.

    Light boxes

Porsche used to sell a lightbox but this only replaced the lower part and uprights. It was made to replace corroded boxes on long bonnet cars.

It is shown on the PET on one of the Targa shells.

I didin't have the upper return edge which is needed to locate the glass and this has to be added to the SC wing as it isn't present.

You also need a small section of fender with the correct flared profile.

We have already made a press tool for this part.

The box we are making has the upper reteurn section so will convert an SC fender.
