    Refinished Deep 6's price check

I have a set of 5 deep 6's (with hearts) all date coded mid 1970. I sent them to Al Reed to be restored to original (anodized not just polished). I will be getting them back in a few weeks but I need to sell them to help finance the paint on the car. These were in very good condition when I sent them. I can get the dates but I think they are all about 5/70ish. anyway, financially times are a bit tough and the money is better off spent on getting the car back from paint right now. Im hoping that I can get about $3500 for the set (including 4 caps). I can have these drop shipped to the buyer as soon as they are done. Please let me know if this is the right ballpark. This is about what I have in them. Im not out to make a profit. Thanks, Mark

I think that $500-600 per wheel ($2500-3000 per set) is more realistic in this market, ie; economy.

I think you will probably get some interest at that price point.

I have two extra sets, so I am NOT interested ........ just giving my opinion (as you asked) !

    Best of luck!

Ok, The wheels were just finished by Al Reed. It took much longer than expected. They will be shipping late this week. If anyone is interested, I can have all 5 of them drop shipped to your door for $3200. One of the wheels had a small chip that had to be welded and the anodizing is SLIGHTLY off in a very small area but since there are 5 this would be a spare anyway. I dont have pictures but I assure you they will be awesome. none of them were daamged with the exception of the small area on the one that needed to have the lip filled in.
