    Correct Antenna for 68

    My 68 came originally with an automatic antenna, what would be correct, a chrome tip I suspect? Would this Hirschmann be correct?

    My car came with a Hirschmann similar to yours, only diffrence is the tip is smaller and had a slot in it. The base is identical. I have a Hirschmann pamplet somewhere for the atenna.

    Another possibility is (my favorite) blue tip blaupunkt, either electric or manual.

    Bret since yours has a slot, is yours manual?

    Didn't the antenna's also have a rubber "cap" that fit over the slotted top.

    (I'm assuming I have a slot on my tip, but the rubber cap is so hard and petrified I'm afraid to try and pull it off).
