67 rust bucket salvation. Found a Heuer

So I purchased this really really rusty original 67 Sunday. Dragged out of a water barn In Iowa. Got it back was spending some serious time cleaning and low and behold guess what I find.

Got to be as close to brand new as it gets Heuer Trackstar Stopwatch new in box. I've looked online and haven't found another one like it. I've checked all the usual spots but none quite like this.

Thought you guys would like to see it. Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Jonny W. -- Nice find. Now, can you also post a photo of the rust bucket? I need proof that I am not the only crazy one to put an early 67 back on the road.

Nice win. All I found under my 67 carpets was a train station parking
    ticket from the early 70s.

I will work on getting some pictures of the car for you guys, but the car during transport lost its drivers side fender, headlight , 1 horn grill and a few other misc pieces of metal from someplace underneath, the front suspension also separated when I strapped the front wheels down with the car hauler.

I found a couple other cool tidbits in the car, English Owners manual , porsche history pamphlet and a 67 owners manual in German.

This car sadly is beyond saving. It sat in close to 8 inches of water for years!!

I will post some pictures to you guys, the Heuer was the highlight made the buy worth it.

Well its an old barn missing most of the roof and sitting in a flood plain.
The car was sitting in at 6 inches of water. I know this because when the wheels finally dried off each of the 4 tires had around 6 inches up worth of totally deteriorated rubber. The car was sadly treated very badly. I haven't found good material on the floor suspension points or any lower point of the car. The gas fill flap had fallen between the fender and the inner fender.

Surprisingly so, the interior is very nice . Most of the door panels , door tops dash, rear panels are all salvageable, I took an hour to clean just one original door panel up and it looks almost like new. Im pretty happy about that.

    Lots of good spare parts.

I haven't quite figured what to do with the Heuer, its a neat trinket that would probably be better suited to a serious collector. I dont know. Its new and probably not something you play around with , if it's worth some money.

Anyone know any Heuer collectors that might be interested or could help me establish a realistic value?

If there are any interior bits anyone needs for a 67 let me know, I will use some of the parts for my 67 and probably sell the rest. Theres lots of goodies.
