Seat Suggestion

I have Recaro sport seats in my 70T. I would like something with more lateral support for the drivers seat. There are many choices out there so I'm looking for some help in making a decision. I don't need it to recline or tilt, I can access the rear from the other side. It would be nice to have forward backward adjustment. Thanks for any help.

yes the choices are many...what is your personal height and width ? also would you like to have more radical or soft side support ?
Would you use the car in dirvers Ed's ,rallies or autocross or ...sorry just what I ask to make a honest recommendation....also what is the material of your existing seats and what is the center section- just for matching ...

Thank you for your reply, the seats in my car are black leatherette and corduroy. I'm 5' 11" and medium build. The car is used for canyon driving and the occasional drivers ed outing. Comfort is important for longer runs.

Hi Richard, thank you for sharing the data...
I would suggest the Sebring which would fit your size and the year of the car, it is the reproduction of the Scheel 300 but with duralastic belts for comfort, so you sit on foam ontop of these comfort belts instead of a fiberglass shell.I have used these seats in Europe at rallies and can confirm that the ride is still quite firm but it takes the hit's from the spine.
Next option would be the Avus and for even more side support the Rallye, all have the same construction and are available in Corduroy.
